What’s The Best Ways to Lose Weight After Pregnancy?

January 9th, 2010 28 comments »

Losing weight after being pregnant is not always easy.

Sorry to say there really is no “best way to lose weight after being pregnancy” as such which will fit each and every person across the board. Everyone’s different and unique in their own way, it can be safely said that each person will have a different necessity when it comes to weight loss options.

However, what can be said that there is certainly a best way to lose weight for every individual, and it is best if you can find this out for yourself and pursue it. If you are uncertain about how to go about this, to begin with, you always have the option of contacting a qualified dietician or nutritionist who will be able to help you find the your own individual “best way to lose weight”.

Or you also have the option of researching various books and literature available on the subject of weight loss to find what is the best way to lose weight designed for you. As you can see there are a number of options open to you, and it only hinges on which one you take to get your weight loss under way.

Before beginning on any weight loss technique, it’s always best if you consult with your doctor or other certified person to decide whether this is the best way to lose weight for you.

In this way you can get around any future problems which might arise as a result of your weight loss, and you can also rule out any medical or health issues which might prevent you from losing weight the way you should.

Even though you might think that you have found the best way to lose weight, you might not want to set that in stone. Always leave your options open and you will find that you are better off for doing so.

Keeping your weight loss program flexible also gives you leeway to change it as you go through it, wedding out the bad spots and fine tuning the things which work for. In this way especially you will find that you truly are reaping the rewards and that you have truly found the best way to lose weight, for yourself.

And once you have done this, the next thing that you need to do is to stick to your weight loss plan. There is simply no use in having found the best way to lose weight if you don’t follow through on it to the conclusion.

And when you have done this, you will know that you will be fighting fit and ready to take on the world. Why? Because you know that you used the most healthy and best way to lose weight, and that you now have the will power and the ability to keep the weight off.

If you trying to lose weight after giving birth and just haven’t found the right plan, you might want to check Weight Lose After Pregnancy.

Tone Your Abs Without Sit Ups

December 6th, 2009 19 comments »

That’s right you can tone your abs without doing those dreaded sit-up or crunches.
Watch as Dr. David Friedman, CEO/President of Chews-4-Health shows you how to get six-pack abs without sit ups.

According to Dr. Friedman we all have a six pack of abs… it’s just that there’s a layer of fat covering them. :) So the idea is to burn the fat so that our six pack can show it’s presence.

Of course proper eating helps, but exercise is crucial!

Dr. Friedman says “Don’t do crunches, Don’t do sit-ups they are a waste of energy and can hurt your neck and back”.

Two of the absolute best exercises to do for abdominal belly and toning that do not include sit-ups or crunches.

Check out this great video and find that six-pack. :)

By: The Balancing Act & Dr. David Friedman

This is a great video describing the many free and sometimes unknown ways to lose weight.

Dr. Friedman of Chews-4-Health gives some really easy and neat tips for losing weight.

  • Not getting enought sleep has been linked to obesity.
  • Drinking ice cold water can actually help you lose weight
  • Drinking diet soda can actually cause someone to gain weight.
  • Never skip breakfast and eat 5-6 mini-meals per day.

Dr. David Friedman became frustrated by the void he found in the world of nutrition and spent almost 3 years formulating and perfecting his revolutionary product, Chews-4-Health…the VERY FIRST full spectrum super fruit/sea vegetable and antioxidant chewable in the world!

Weight Loss Challenge – What’s it mean to you?

A good friend and mentor of mine Rex Harris from http://www.yesterdaysfatguy.com
recently took on a new weight loss challenge that was issued by Israel Lagares at http://www.fatmanunleashed.com.

Basically the challenge was to take off your shirt while going through your weight loss journey. Not just taking pictures of before and after shots. But actually documenting your results to the world as they happen.

I’ve really got to give Rex a lot of credit for taking on this challenge and for making this video. What it tells me, is that Rex is committed and he’s willing to do what ever he needs to do to lose weight and pursue his dreams. It’s commitment like this we all need to follow. I’m not suggesting that you go out and take off your shirt. However, what I am saying and the point I’m attempting to make is that you must be willing to do what ever you need to do in order to accomplish your goals; as long as those goals are of a positive nature to you and those it may affect.

Check out Rex’s video, rate it and leave comments if you will. I hope this video inspires you to be all you dream to be. Dream big and never give up!

    What’s with the blah slump?

    Blah Slump 10/1/09
    By: Deb Bell

I know I am not the only person that has been here during their weight loss adventure! I have felt really run down the past week or so, and just feeling unmotivated to do much. I don’t feel like a total couch potato, but really by the time I finish working all day, hurry home to fix a “Healthy” dinner for my family (when I can), and then stay motivated to exercise to keep the weight loss meltdown in motion.

As I review the past week or so, I think what has happened, is when we went to Washington DC mid September, we walked a lot. After returning home I took on a very physical home project. I had a few days off work, and decided to get really serious about a project that we started exactly one year ago… painting the exterior of our house. I am the type of person that’s just not happy until I can consider it finished! Not almost, nearly or close. DONE! That is what counts to me!

So I knew this was a big task, and I gave it my absolute best effort, and still have 2 complete walls to finish and then a few small extra sections. I am not in awesome physical shape, but ready for the taxing on my body that I experienced in 4 days. I now feel like I have been beat up, and although I felt that way each morning when I woke up, I persisted! I now have a Goal to get it DONE by the end of October. It will be done. So as I look at that undertaking that included exercise that you would never imagine, I guess I am not doing so bad. My back, shoulders, arms, hands and legs all discovered muscles that haven’t felt pain or stress in a long time.

What I have learned that everyone must learn during their journey: first of all give ourselves a break! It’s ok to not be 110% all the time. The goal should be when we are not at our peak is to get back on it as quickly as we can. Secondly I learned to give myself credit. I spent 4 really hard working days in the sun and heat, working hard to meet a goal. Although I have not yet met the goal, I am much closer than I was before I started and I have the goal in mind and it is clear to me.
I must stay focused on my goal, and be willing to put forth the effort to meet and achieve that goal. There is nothing different with it is our lifestyle changes, and weight reduction process.

Please let me know what your blah slumps have been like, and what you did to get back to your 110%.
